The second annual Sierra 4x4 Trails and Ales event is coming to Tahoe Donner's Northwoods Club House facility on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1 – 4 p.m. This exciting event, hosted by the Tahoe Donner 4-Wheelers Club, promises to be a fun-filled day featuring:

A Shine and Show for 4 wheel drive vehicles with prizes for participants
Beer tasting provided by Deschutes Brewing Company
Live music
Food available at the Northwoods Clubhouse
Fun activities for kids
Bocce ball, horse shoes and archery range
4 Wheeling related vendors
A raffle for valuable prizes
US Forest Service representatives
Other 4 Wheeling Clubs
An exciting trail run for all the participants on Sunday the 17th at Bear Valley Loop Trail

We would love to have you enter your 4 wheeler in the show! Any 4 wheel drive vehicle is invited to enter; from totally customized rigs to off the show room stock vehicles, all are welcome. We are inviting 4 wheeling clubs and the public from all over Northern California and Western Nevada. We hope that this will provide folks who have an interest in 4 wheeling, an opportunity to talk to folks like us who love to drive the backcountry in our 4 wheelers.

The event will be open to the public starting at 1pm, but those of you participating in the show should arrive no later than 12pm on Saturday. The trail run on Sunday will begin at 9am and depending on how many vehicles participant, we will start in groups of 20 to 25 each half hour. Here is what you get when you sign up to enter your vehicle in the shine & show:

A beer mug with the event logo
Coupons for 2 glasses of beer
An event logo T-Shirt
A Tahoe Donner SWAG Bag
Participation in the Sunday Trail Run to Bear Valley Loop Trail
Placard to place on your vehicle for voting identification purposes
Bumper sticker with the event logo

The cost to enter is only $35 for the show on Saturday and the Trail Run at Bear Valley Loop Trail on Sunday. You may register by mail by filling out the information below or you can register on-line by clicking on the link below.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the new Tahoe Donner Giving Fund (TDGF). TDGF launched in early 2015 and is a new non-profit program designed to make charitable contributions to benefit the greater Truckee/North Tahoe region. Donations go to organizations that include: health and human services, environment, conservation, animal welfare, education and youth development and arts and culture.
